It bugs me how Tara was so against raising Joyce from the dead, but when Willow wanted to raise Buffy everything was ok.
Raising Joyce was different than raising Buffy because Joyce died a natural death, while Buffy died a supernatural one…

I actually liked Riley. I thought he was sweet and good for Buffy.

- This is just so thoughtful
- Well, I think about you
It’s scenes like this that make me annoyed by later seasons, when they made Willow a lesbian. It’s like they completely forgot that she had been with a boy before, and they made it seem like she had never loved one!

For some reason I really like the fact that Oz is short. It’s weird, but I think that I like his character more for it.

#djfgkdfgjk this scene i can’t #it’s a testament to how much Giles has changed and grown #i cannot imagine Giles s1 doing this - taking this man’s life to protect his slayer #but that was Giles pre-cruciamentum and pre-Buffy’s first death #Giles pre-Jenny’s Death and pre-s4’s feels of restlessness and uselessness#That Giles and this Giles are two completely different people #and this Giles is the one who says the things that no one else wants to even consider in order to save the world #s1 Giles would never have mentioned letting Dawn die - but /THIS/ Giles…#with his tiredness and his dark streak and his understanding that sometimes saving the world means getting your hands dirty #THIS Giles offers Dawn up on a plate and THIS Giles kills Ben #because after all the years of being The Watcher… After everything he’s gone through… #His hands are so red already that this little bit of blood makes no difference one way or another #This episode is the turning point for Giles; everything that happens causes Giles’ line between right and wrong to start blurring #and when his Slayer dies… that line starts vanishing completely #GILES FEELS

#willow rosenburg #is someone i understand much more than i am comfortable with sometimes #and her story arc makes so much sense to me #because of course someone who felt powerless for years #and then suddenly had a ton of unchecked power #would end up being overwhelmed with it #especially when she’s spent her whole life identifying as the good girl or the smart girl #or the good friend #even when she didn’t necessarily want to be that person#and i just have a lot of willow feelings okay? #btvs
