Since salt in front of doors and windows keeps out evil, could you embed the salt permanently in front of them under plastic? Would that make it not work? What I mean is: Could you carve a groove (like a moat) in the floor/windowsill and put salt in it, then encase it in plastic so it doesn’t get kicked or wash away?
